This is a typical Trollopian Story, with the usual insight into life in England today. It entertainingly illustrates the dangers of believing that nothing unexpected will happen and that there is no need to plan for the future.

This was another excellent book from Joanna Trollope. We have enjoyed her books in the past, and this one certainly did not disappoint. The story moved along at a good pace, and was not predictable. We would recommend it to anyone who has enjoyed other books by this author.
